Janet Jackson‘s truth-bearing documentary has been earning rave reviews for its colossally candid deep-dive into all corners of the icon’s life.
One of the central focuses of the four-part film was Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the singer’s legendary family.
Viewers watched as Janet acknowledged her father’s steeliness, but placed it in the context of his unwavering desire to see his children succeed. A dream that came to fruition with The Jackson 5, Janet, and, of course, Michael Jackson.
The positive presentation caught the eye of another famous father, Mathew Knowles – dad to Beyonce and Solange.
A maestro in his own right, having shepherded the careers of his daughters as well as the group Destiny’s Child, Knowles showered ample praise on Janet and the documentary more broadly for doing a solid service to Joe.

“I hope that you got to see the Lifetime which I thought was very good and for me answered a lot of questions. The first half was dedicated to her childhood which unveiled the curtain on how much, although a strict disciplinarian, Joe Jackson loved his kids, wanted the best for them and was an extremely smart, strategic, and effective manager, unlike the villain that mainstream media have painted.
Janet, Randy and Tito repeatedly said “if not for Joe we would have not had the success.”
Janet Super Bowl performance was a simple wardrobe malfunction which happens a lot when your performance includes strong dance routines. Google “Britney Spears Wardrobe Malfunction” and you will see that she has had a number of malfunctions actually similar, yet not blown out of proportion by mainstream media like Janet.
Today’s news take is focused more on the wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake and Joe Jackson’s role as a loving Black father/manager is completely forgotten! Thank you Janet for stepping up and telling the true story!!”

Was Joe stealing from his kids like you Mathew?
With Destinys Child he was a good manager but when it comes to Michelle and Kellys Solo Carrer he was not on point his focus was completly on Beyonce. Kelly Rowland sold with her first album over 4 Million Albums after that she never sold that much of album unites.
